This solo violin CD is my personal compilation of works written in the 20th and 21st century. At the centre of the album I present Luciano Berio's violin Sequenza, a piece which I have loved and performed for many years. I could say it has become a part of my body. The piece has introduced me to new thoughts and feelings, and has led to collaborations with musicians, artists, and dancers. The character and the technical demands of the Sequenza led and influenced my selection of the other works on this CD.
